Booster Volunteers
Concessions
- Boosters run the band concessions at home football games. From grilling outback to ringing up customers, there are a variety of jobs to help a game night run smoothly. It takes roughly 8 to 10 volunteers to manage a football game.
Chaperoning
- The band travels frequently for competitions, assessments, and parades. Chaperones help manage those trips by keeping roll, carrying instruments, helping with uniforms, and providing first aid if necessary. These volunteers do a lot of walking, but they also get a backstage view of the events!
Crews and Helpers
- Committing to a group like the uniform room parents or the pit crew offers more behind-the-scenes involvement. These volunteers are the earlier arrivers and the ones who stay late. The uniform parents help with uniform care and help the kids get ready. The pit crew can be found moving props and instruments.
Committees
- Some committees meet throughout the year, which can include board and boosters members like the fundraising committee, which reaches out to the community, helps with swag orders, ect.. There is also a prop committee that recruits volunteers to help design and build props for the year’s show.
